More About us

Candice & Nadinne have a magical quality to their Performing Personae, and have that special something that it takes to become a major force in today’s highly competitive country music industry which leads them on the road to becoming the “next big thing” with their fresh, polished, professional performances.

A musical dream of recording in Nashville was realised when identical twins Candice and Nadinne were introduced to Mark Moffatt, an Aussie born Nashville based producer and their debut career album Breaking It Down is the inspiring result.

Breaking It Down not only captures the beautiful, soaring harmonies and unique intricacies of vocal that only identical twins can share, it also walks with Candice and Nadinne on a musical journey through young love and life. From the humourous and perilously accurate
Not No But Hell No which is to be their second single release in mid 2011, to the romantically touching Don’t Let The Night End, the yearning call of Anybody Out There and the flirtatious danger of I Know Better - this album is full of exquisitely delivered melodies, enhanced by strong harmonies and supported by Nashville based musicians who really capture the essence of contemporary country music.
South Australian based, Candice & Nadinne first fell in love with music and singing when they were just 13, begging their Mother for singing lessons and she told them 'only if you're serious about this!'.

When they won their first song writing competition for SCALA (Songwriters Composers and Lyricists Association) at 16 it cemented the dream of making a career out of what they loved.

In 2004, then known as DoubleVision the girls launched their first album Just Another Day and released a single titled, On Her Own, which went to radio around Australia and led to tours throughout SA & VIC and a debut at the Tamworth Country Music Festival.

They’ve also been nominated in the top five Music OZ Independent Artists - Country Music genre and taken home awards for the 2008 Best International Country Song for their single I Dream of  You And Smile

2010 Best International Country Group -Toronto Exclusive Magazine, Canada.
With the release of Breaking It Down, Candice and Nadinne now proudly enter the professional Australian country music arena with a wonderfully produced album, two video clips, and single releases and hearts that speak of love, life and dedication to their craft.

Already compared to eminent mother and daughter duo The Judds, Daryl Kirkup (Capital News Australia) whole heartedly agrees… "One listen to Candice & Nadinne’s superb new album shows this comparison to be well and truly deserved… one of this year's standout releases to date".

Candice & Nadinne have already tasted local and International success following the release of their debut album Just Another Day back in 2004. JUST ANOTHER DAY

CANDICE and NADINNE are eye-catching identical twins, from Adelaide. Their sound reminds me most of SUSANNA HOFF (of pop group the BANGLES) but with pure harmonies in the style of VIKA and LINDA BULL. Title track ‘Just Another Day’ and ‘Works For Me’ are exceptional. This is a worthy album to introduce the twins to Australia and the world”
